Instructions For Sampling Spring Dead Spot:

1. Select an area of turf that has an active infestation of Spring dead spot.
    
2. Identify at least 20 different spots for measurement.
    
3. Measure the spot’s diameter in two perpendicular directions.
   (12.5” & 14.0”)
   
   
   
    
4. Calculate the average of the two measurements.
   (12.5 + 14.0) / 2 = 13.25
    
5. Record the average for the spot in the survey form.
   Spot # 1 = 13.25
